Let me first start off that it’s really-really rare when I will take on a Family Session. Of course I’m there in a heart beat for my brides and their growing family, but just to take on a family without knowing them…they need to be really awesome. And one of my brides bosses. I don’t want to be the cause of a firing. 🙂
It really helped that Jennifer was absolutely amazing in every way possible. When she showed up at my secret location in Temecula with color-coordinated outfits, I knew it was going to be a good afternoon. She was telling me that she’s only had one other family session with a photographer just starting out and then she made a face like this :/ . I was glad she came to me.
And seriously, even though I rarely shoot family sessions, I have a handful of people that I can recommend. People that I would trust for my own photos. Please. For the sake of all that is good.
Emma and Gavin l.o.v.e.d. the camera.
Other than being a really cute prop, the bear holds a lot of sentimental value to the Rivera family. Emma was telling me it belonged to a close family friend that recently passed away. I was glad they included it and I was honored to photograph the cute little bear that meant so much.
