Sam and Bryant are one adorable couple.
When we were brainstorming for the session, I tried to combine their love for plaid, flannel, the wilderness and basically anything that has to do with being adorably cute. Really, I’m so lucky to know these two people. These two are the only two I know that can hold a Man Vs. Wild marathon then turn it into a drinking game. It’s a beautiful thing.
When I do an engagement session, I love to work in props and themes. It gives my couples something to do and works in something that screams “you”.
I have amazing brides that put all this stuff together themselves, and as a back up for the creatively challenged…Intertwined can step in and get all the props and ideas together. Katie and Meg are awesome, sweet people that I love working with. And they make everything just so easy.
It was the first time I got to explore this location, and we stumbled upon a mini orange grove. It was kinda fitting that we actually brought oranges as a prop (and as a snack to eat later…you can never be too prepared in the wilderness).
ok, so I got this idea from the movie poster for An Education. And you gotta see the movie, it’s a emotional, beautiful film.
L.o.v.e. her boots. They are from Steve Madden…I would just like to throw out there that I’m a size 11 1/2 and my birthday is in March. 🙂
I could of used this field of twigs all day, when the sun was going down I was silently crying inside. I didn’t want to stop shooting.
