Engagement SessionMolly + PatrickSanta Monica, California

Molly + Patrick live in Santa Monica and wanted their engagement session to reflect their lives at the moment, so we met up a few blocks from where they live and walked around, laughter and I might of drank a little too much coffee. About 30 minutes in a super thick marine layer rolled in over the town, completely covering the beach.  But instead of worrying about losing the blue ocean in the background, it felt like we scored! It was like something out of the movies…romantic, moody and we had the whole beach to ourselves!

Next month they get married at Big Daddy’s Antiques in LA and I’m sooooo looking forward to photographing and celebrating them!

Engagement SessionKiley + IsaacRMNP || Estes Park, Colorado

Back in January I met with Kiley + Isaac on a sunny, but windy day in Estes Park, Colorado for their engagement session! I loved getting to know them and crack bad jokes as I was trudging though 3 ft of snow to find the perfect spots!

They flew in from Texas to enjoy the snow and explore Rocky Mountain National Park! They are getting married this summer at my favorite venue in Colorado, Piney River Ranch (I cant wait!! ). Here are just a few of my favorites!

Santa Fe New Mexico Engagement Session – Desiree + Daniel

When Jay and I started dating, his brother, Daniel started dating Desiree around the same time. Even though Daniel doesn’t remember the first time they met, it was in the University of New Mexico dinning hall and they met though mutual friends (and food). I loved how Desire + Daniel fit together, and just knew it was a matter of time. Daniel contacted me last year about wanted to find a cool and unique way to propose to his girlfriend with me there to take photos, so we set up this elaborate idea that I needed a couple to model for me in New Mexico. So I slowly chatted about it on during Thanksgiving vacation when they were visiting us…and then a few weeks ago Jay and I flew down to New Mexico to make it a reality.  We started the day roaming around Santa Fe, and then drove up to Ghost Ranch to explore the grounds and “get photos for my website”. Dez had no idea she would be proposed to in just a few hours…
