Rachel + Spencer { St. John of Orange Wedding }

Jay actually introduced me to Rachel + Spencer. Almost exactly 1 year ago. Funny thing is I was introduced the day I was also helping Rachel move into a new apartment. Nothing says hey like moving personal belongings across the city, right?

Rachel + Spencer have been together since High School. Almost 8-9 years if I remember correctly. Since Jay has been friends with them for almost 10 years, that’s saying something. When Rachel approached me to photograph her wedding I was hesitant…her wedding date was our 1 year Anniversary. I know. After a few weeks of poking fun at them, I agreed. And Jay was going to be a part of the bridal party…so I might as well do what I know best at a wedding.

At the same time, Jay was actually played two parts in this wedding. He was both a groomsman AND an assistant for me. It was seriously cute to watch him run around with a camera in his suit. Since he was already with the guys in the morning, I gave him the task of photographing Spencer get ready. Along with getting to the church on time. 😉

Yeah, I’m bias. I’m putting up two photos of Jay with Spencer because I can.
