Jessica + Josh { Barstow Engagement Session }

I gave Jessica and Josh a challenge: since they are so awesome and unique, I gave them the challenge to make their engagement session just as awesome and unique. I told them to find something they have never seen before, and I will go with them….distance doesn’t matter.

And boy they rocked the challenge. We made our way to Barstow and explored an old rock mine, tire graveyard, shipping containers, and ended with an abandoned trailer. I loved every location they brought me to, and I felt super lucky that my couples are so awesome. Creativity = +100

So when we drove up to the first location, Josh was telling me that he knew of this place because growing up his youth groups would make their way down here. Groups of them would sleep in a converted bunk-bed-shipping container and explore the area. He also casually mentioned that we needed to be careful because of a crazy, gun-loving neighbor…you know, the type that collects the cars of his victims. Oh. No, biggie.

Luckily we survived and the fear was totally worth it.

Climbing up a mountain of tires? Totally worth it!
