I have huge news for you guys. Like “what were you thinking-you’re crazy” news.
Well some people might know this, especially since I announced it live online for thousands of people to see….
I quit my full time job.
The Monday I came back to work I was so scarred. Everybody could see a change in me. I found myself stopping everybody and telling them how much my life changed in the 4 previous days. I flailed my hands like a mad woman, and talked about Jasmine, the J*Jets and even walking by a Hostess bakery and wanting to move in.
But under the excitement, I was shaking and my belly was doing handstands and flips all day. I might as well of sold my flipping insides to the circus. They would of put on an entertaining show.
Luckily I had the J*Jets to hold me up and tell me I could do it. That they had my back, and no matter what everything would be ok. These 6 people are the bread to my apple butter… Darn, now I want to drive to Lucille’s.
Anyways…I did it. 2011 is going to be the year of adventures (no matter how scary), traveling and doing what makes me happy.

Yeah! I saw you announce it that day! I am so inspired by your actions. I am so inspired by that workshop. Of course Jasmine Star was inspiring but all the J*Jets have been just as inspiring. Thank you for that.

Yeyuuuuuh!!! I could imagine you doing the balancing move with your hands and one of them TOTALLY outweighing the other.
As for the crazy part, I would make the claim you were crazy for not doing this earlier!

CONGRATULATIONS! It took me getting laid off of my job to have the courage to do what I love. Good for you! I love how you pride yourself on your geekiness. I do too! But, rather than scifi, I am a twimom. SO awesome and embarrassing! My kids are going to be so bummed when they are older. 😉
