Courtney + Conor are the type of couple that wanted to just have one giant party on their wedding day. Instead of fussy traditions, they focused on really good food + whiskey. Oh and pie.
They also gave me a unique challenge – to photograph the day as it unfolds as naturally as possible. While Courtney and her family was getting ready I tried to be a fly on the wall. Other than a few detail shots…I just stood back and watched. It was refreshing. Luckily, Courtney picked the best rental property ever…the light on the entire floor was amazing. It’s seriously the only reason why I had such a good time just clicking as things happened.
After geting ready, we made our way to the San Clemente Historic Cottage. The entire day was filled with laughing, sangria, Mexican food and oh so good whiskey. 🙂
Venue: San Clemente Historic Cottage | Coordinator: Priscilla – At Your Service Caters | Flowers: Alysaa at WildFlowers of San Clemente | Food: Victor at Taco Rosa | Bride’s dress: A gift from a friend | Bridesmaid’s Dresses: J. Crew | Hair: Hallie Baughman of Hello Gorgeous in Corona del Mar | Makeup: Tony Moura
Conor received a wedding ham from Courtney…if you ask me that’s the best gift ever. Below you can see the happy delivery guy. 😉
Extra thanks to Natalie Williams for being a fantastic second shooter and for hanging out with the guys! Jay was also on hand as eye candy an assistant.
