This engagement session was an adventure. During our first meeting, Annika and Ryan mentioned that they met randomly at Annika’s family cabin in Big Bear. In my mind, I was jumping at the idea of having their engagement session at the cabin…and I was so excited when the two of them had the same idea in mind.
So a few weeks ago we all made our way up to Big Bear, complete with Oakley their super-friendly dog. Driving up, I knew it was going to be great…forest and I tend to be BFF’s. But when I got to the cabin, I was speechless. I was dropped into a photographers playground. Behind the cabin they had a running creek, and trees surrounding the entire property. Annika also had the cutest props and ideas for their shoot, my favorite one being an idea for their Save-The-Date cards. And I’m excited to know that Annika is even planning on wearing cowboy boots to the wedding! Score!
Just so you guys know…I was planning on not leaving….until someone mentioned bears.
