Crystal + Richard { Cherry Valley California Highland Springs Resort Wedding }

I think this wedding sent me to details heaven. How can you go wrong with an olive grove, lavender field AND an 1100 old oak tree? I die. Highland Springs Resort is a gorgeous venue, and to make it even better…Crystal and Rich are the sweetest, most trusting, loving couple ever.

We spent the entire day at Highland Springs and we really only saw a small fraction of the venue…it’s massive. I was temped to steal a golf cart just to see the entire place. We started with a quick first look before the ceremony in the olive grove, where Crystal + Rich’s nerves were instantly calmed. Originally they wanted to wait for the ceremony, but just a few days before the wedding they changed their minds. I loved hearing how happy they were to see each other and how before that moment they were a nervous wreck. I could see an instant change. After I gave them some cuddling time, we made our way to the ceremony location…you might want to sit down for this one…an 1100 year old oak tree. I literally-literally-danced when I turned the corner and had a view of the tree for the first time. It was stunning. And the hanging flowers made my heart go all pitter-patter. Jenni of Little Hill Floral Designs added the perfect little touches to the venue, and her flowers were gorgeous.

Anyways…now that I’m drooling a little bit, I should let you guys just see the photos.

Oh, and I have to thank Lori Yohe for helping me out and being an awesome second shooter and rock-star behind the lens. Jay also assisted us and kept all of us alive throughout the day. Couldn’t of done it without them! I <3 you guys! 😉
