Molly and Bret Married each other one year and two days ago. They were telling me that it rained on their wedding day, so when I woke up to the sound of rain on the day of their anniversary shoot…I thought they had the best luck ever. I was so pumped to shoot in the rain. I know…I’m strange. But I was ready to make it work with my new galoshes and an assortment of colorful umbrellas.
Luckily, I didn’t have to use my stockpile of umbrellas. That afternoon the rain cleared out and left pretty clouds that made for the softest light ever.
To make the day even better, Molly was amazing and brought the cutest props….she also had the Mad Men dress that I’ve been pining for. I really had a great time hanging out with them, and I really love when couples continue to take photos after their wedding day. Much <3 guys and happy anniversary!

What I want people to walk away with at the end of the day…embrace the rain and clouds. It makes for better photos and I don’t know about you…but I think its good luck.
