A few people know that when I started doing photography, I was working at FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). I was a graphic designer for fashionclub.com, but every few months I would be able to help plan and assist the photoshoots…and about two years ago they started trusting me with a camera. At first I was shooting with big lights in a studio setting, but now that I’ve made it on my own they hire me on to take “mood” shots. Basically that means I get to play with my favorite medium…gorgeous natural light.
A few months ago I was working on a shoot with FIDM….and was able to photograph Emily and Tiffany.
