A few months ago, Ashleigh asked me to help style a desert shoot of Tony and Jackie. { A.k.a. cutest hippies I have the pleasure of knowing. } Since then, Ash has had her shoot featured on Style Me Pretty. It’s huge honor and I feel lucky I could be a part of it. Be sure to check Ashleigh Taylor Photography out!
The vendors that made this shoot possible:
Floral Design: Honey and Poppies – http://honeyandpoppies.com/
Stationery: Pitbulls & Posies – http://pitbullsandposies.com/
Wardrobe Styling: Hope Stanley – http://hsbridalstylist.blogspot.com/
Dress: Mary Me Bridal – http://marymebridal.com/
Hair Adornments: Lo Boheme – www.loboheme.com
Hair + Make-up: Susie Chhuor Studio - http://www.susiechhuor.com/
Set Styling: Candice Benjamin – http://candicebenjamin.com/ {-shameless plug
These guys rock. They made my job super-easy and I would be ecstatic if any of my couples used them.
The whole photoshoot started with a inspiration board, then one afternoon Ash and I had a field trip to the fabric district of downtown la. You would be surprised with how much great, affordable stuff you can find down there. Including fresh cut Mango for snacking on. { Shopping is hard work I tell you… }
Anyways…day of the shoot we drive into Joshua Tree to set up a sweetheart table and relaxing area for Tony and Jackie. We also had an epic battle with a pointy tree…but lost with grace and mini band-aids.
Since I’m a photographer first, as soon as I had everything set up, Ashleigh let me grab a few of my own shots throughout the day. It’s sure worth it to drive out into the boondocks…and for light like this…I could set up camp here permanently. Just bring a flashlight and band-aids.

This bouquet is made up of amazing. It also made for a great floral arrangement for the sweetheart table.
