& not taking myself too seriously.
The photo below was taken in Colorado for Aimee + Eric’s wedding day last year. That day was the first time I actually prayed with Jay before getting out of my car to photograph the day. I was so nervous that morning I was shaking, which was silly because I’ve photographed countless days with rain in the forecast. Something about gathering strength that morning hit me with so much power. Yes, it started raining during the first look…but that didn’t stop anyone. We managed to make some beautiful images in the most unlikely of places: a parking lot.
