Jen + Andrew - Eagles Nest Country Club Wedding - Maple, Ontario

At the end of the day, as Jay and I were driving away back to our AirBnb in Toronto I was thinking to myself that we were so lucky to be surrounded by such a loving group of individuals. It was an honor to be able to travel to a new city for Jen + Andrews wedding, and it all came to be because I photographed the proposal of Andrew’s best friend Chris. Funny how things work.

Thank you Jennifer + Andrew, thank you. Your wedding day was perfectly planned and you guys kept me grinning from ear to ear the entire day!

From the bride: “Andrew and I have been together for 11 years and engaged for two. While school and work have not always kept us in the same city (or even country), we quickly learned that no distance could interfere with our desire to spend the rest of our lives together. When we started planning for our wedding, our very first priority was selecting a venue. While Andrew was in Duluth, Minnesota, I was scoping out venues in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. We eventually decided on Eagle’s Nest Golf Club in Maple, Ontario after Andrew visited the venue on a weekend back. We love that the venue provided us with lots of natural light and the beautiful backdrop of a golf course. We opted (or rather, I opted but he agreed) for a soft and romantic wedding, with blush, peach, and cream colours. Andrew and I have put lots of love into a number of DIY projects for the wedding, including the design of all the printables (e.g. invitations, programs, menus), the mercury glass votive holders and chalices, the paper flower wall for the photo booth (with my big sister Diana’s help and guidance!), and the pedestals to hold the floral arrangements.

As of last fall, we are finally together in one place, and now we are ready to start our lives together as husband and wife!”
