I can safely say that it was the first time anyone handed me a whole olive branch the morning of their wedding, and it was a great indication of how the day played out.
Rina + Juan’s beautiful day started with a relaxed first look, and when we arrived at the ceremony venue I was blown away with how they transformed the space. After the God-Centered ceremony, they enjoyed Cocktail hour with their friends and family before following me out for sunset photos. As soon as the sun set, the rest of the night was one big party. And when I say party, I mean it! The dance floor was packed till the very last song.
From the bride: We really wanted our wedding to reflect both our personalities and the things we love. We went for a simple, elegant and fun style. Since I was in high school, I’ve always wanted my wedding colors to be blush pink and gold with black accent which we integrated in the bridesmaid dresses, flowers, decorations, favors etc. Our favorite things were incorporated in the little details of the wedding. The Mickey Mouse silhouette hidden in our wedding cake, the mini dog/cat figures on our cake topper, my love of books is shown through our dessert backdrop and escort cards, our fun humor in the favors, our love/obsession with desserts. I truly believe that the ceremony is the most important part of the wedding day. It’s the time when you declare your love and make an unbreakable vow (Harry Potter reference lol) to each other so we wanted it to be extra special. We had a confetti bar where our guests can mix and match their confetti to shower us as we walk down the aisle as newlyweds. Juan and I integrated a tree planting ceremony for our love of nature and hiking.
