Courtney + Chris { San Juan Capistrano Engagement Session }

When I met these two early this year I knew I would just feel at home with them. Intertwined Events made the introduction, and I love that any couple that used to play WoW is automatically my people. Courtney and Chris have been together for over 5 years and wanted their wedding to be small, romantic and filled with wine. Lots of great wine. 🙂

We met up a few weeks ago in San Juan Capistrano….a place that I’ve always wanted to shoot at. It’s basically a photographers playground. We had fun running around, playing with brain-controlling flowers and climbing in bushes. You know, normal stuff for me. These two are just so cute together, and I know their babies will have black-rimmed glasses as well. 🙂

I’m really looking forward to shooting their wedding this month at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula. Actually…I’m crazy excited. The reception is going to be in the Barrel room and they are timing their vineyard photos for sundown – absolutely perfect if you ask me.

So whats up with the Little Shop of Horrors flower? As we were running around San Juan Capistrano, we saw this creepy flower just laying there. Even though we were frightened of being brain-controlled, we had to take a photo of it….and then we walked slowly away from it.
